Thanks so much for taking time to learn more about the Boys & Girls Club. The value of our program is enhanced by the amazing volunteers that help support our mission. Our volunteers are a valuable part of the success of our program.
Those who create meaningful connections with our kids by sharing their expertise by planning and implementing a four week program focusing on our pillars: Education & STEM, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, Citizenship & Service Learning, Teen Service & Career Exploration, Arts & Culture. Four week session consist of 1 hour per week for four weeks.
Every day the Club Support Volunteers work to assist in our important educational programming, helping BGCBN achieve its mission to empower all youth. You can find them engaging with members in Power Hour, our homework help and tutoring program, Social Recreation or contributing their time and talents to behind-the-scenes administrative areas.
Our biggest need is during our Homework Help times where you can work 1:1 with our youth to help build confidence and study skills. For K – 5 and our program at BJHS this is from 4pm – 5pm, for Teen CLUB it is 3:30pm – 5:30pm.
This volunteer opportunity allows you, as an individual or as part of a group, to step into the Club without making a substantial time commitment. These volunteers share details from their professional careers with members, provide a hands on activity/experience for our members, facilitate a program for our parents and families and/or work to improve our Club environment both inside and out.
Any options you choose starts with the application below. Please fill it out and indicated under Reason I am Volunteering select Other and indicate Support, Impact or Done in a Day.
