What does the Boys & Girls Club offer to kids?
The Boys & Girls Club is a safe place for kids that is supervised by paid, professionally trained staff who offer fun and engaging programs for Club members at an affordable price. The Club offers a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of various ages and interests, such as leadership development and volunteering opportunities, homework help, computers, games, sports, dance, swimming, photography, arts and crafts, discussion groups, college prep, youth employment, movie making and delinquency prevention.
How old do the kids have to be to join a Club?
Clubhouse: Open to all incoming 1st-5th grade students (incoming kindergarteners will be determined on an individual basis)
PJHS & BJHS: Open to all incoming 6th- 8th grade students registered at their Unit 5 or District 87 zoned Junior High Schools
Junior Leadership Academy: Open to all incoming 9th - 12th grade students who apply
Teen Night: Open to all incoming 6th - 12th grade students
What programs does the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal offer?
The range of Club programs, activities and services include educational support, tutoring, mentoring, career counseling, computer training, fine arts, athletics, after-school programming, and meals.
What are the hours of operation for the School Year?
The Clubhouse at 1615 Illinois St is open Monday-Friday between 2:30pm and 6:30pm. The Clubs @ BJHS and PJHS are open from 2:45pm – 6:30pm and Teen CLUB is Friday night from 6:30pm – 9pm. All Clubs following the schedule of District 87, when they are not in session, the Club is closed.
How much does an annual membership cost?
Only $25 per school year for our K – 5 program and free for Junior High and High School members.

Friends, everyone is invited to join us at Club Connect – Spring Edition, on Saturday, April 11th, 11am-2pm. There will be activities, resources, and giveaways for all ages! BGCBN will provide tasty treats to enjoy while we watch the PATH Pals puppet show (12pm). You don’t want to miss this impactful performance!
